Spinach is well known as a great food for health. Most people would consider it best as a cooked vegetable to accompany a meal. It can also be incorporated into recipes such as lasagne and casseroles. There are nutritional benefits to eating spinach cooked as some of its vitamins and nutrients are better absorbed when it is cooked.
