Free Raw Food Diet Meal Plans
People who are trying to change their eating patterns often do not have a clue what they are supposed to eat. I know when I was on my weight loss diet I just wanted simple instructions. My attitude was “Tell me what I can eat and I’ll eat it”. Of course this could be because I am a man and I like things laid out simply for me but I think it is true for everyone.
You do want to be sure though, that you’re getting enough of the right kinds of nutrition. Eating raw foods doesn’t mean eating only the raw foods you like. Watermelon is good for you, but it’s not enough. The same with most foods. You’ll need to do a little research into which raw foods have the essential proteins, or what combinations of food you need to eat to get enough protein. Raw food eating is intended to nourish your body in a completely different way, but just being raw isn’t enough. You want to do this to be in balance, and you need to balance the raw foods you’re eating for proper nutrition.
One way to ensure that you are getting enough nutrients is to incorporate a new fruit or vegetable every week. Buy something you have never heard of, like a “kohl rabi”, or “swiss chard.” You will find a whole new world of tastes and textures open up to you.
Raw Food Diet Meal Plans
Meal plans are a big help for people changing their diet because they remove the guesswork. The raw food diet is no different. The advantage of raw food diet meal plans of course is that there is none of the complications that come with cooking foods. What you do need to know is how to combine your raw foods to ensure that you are getting all you need in terms of vitamins and minerals.
This will depend on how much you are aiming to eat raw in your diet. I aim for 60 – 70 % of my diet to be raw foods. This is usually too high for people just changing their diet. You shoiuld start with eating 50% of your food raw. Then you can increase it carefully. I have found that you learn exactly how much you are eating raw. Your body tells you through your general health.

I believe in the nourishment that one gets from raw foods. This post encourages having a planned diet of combining raw food to get enough nutrients for the body.
Eating raw foods as part of our diet is healthy as cooking destroy most vitamins and minerals. I do enjoy my salad raw. Hope to get more tips here on raw foods.
Good post. You are right – you cannot rely solely on the same foods, or solely on fruits and veggies. They can be the main part of your diet, but I think we need some grains and beans, nuts, etc.
I did some research when we became vegan, and I found that some of the deficiencies with this type of diet were B-12 and Iodine. So, you may need to supplement in some way.
