What Can I Eat On A Raw Food Diet? – A Daily Eating Plan
To start with many people find it bewildering to start a raw food diet. The most common question people have is what can I eat on a raw food diet? Behind the question there is fear that there is little you
can eat and the options you have are not very attractive and enjoyable. To show you how easy it is to get going I have drawn up a single day’s eating plan to give you a high percentage of raw food without going too mad.
Breakfast on a raw food diet.
I am a porridge eater for breakfast and although it is quite healthy it is definitely not raw. So I sometimes have porridge and on other days I have a large fruit and vegetable juice that I prepare in a juicer. Another option is a fresh fruit salad with a yoghurt topping.
Lunch on a raw food diet.
I am always on the move in my work and I never know where I am going to be for lunch. For this reason I usually have a salad full of fresh salad vegetables with a small protein portion of boiled egg or cold meat. If you are having to eat out order the salad off the menu and hold the mayonnaise or other dressings.

Dinner on a raw food diet.
I am not a vegan or vegetarian so the easiest option for the main meal of the day is a piece of meat or fish with a large amount of raw fresh vegetables. Sometimes I will prepare some quinoa or cous cous and then mix in a whole pile of chopped veg with it. In the summer I might just have another salad. After a few months of being on a raw food diet you will find hundreds of ways of serving raw vegetables to keep it interesting and tasting good.
Snacks on a raw food diet.
There are three easy snack items for you. They are nuts, Fresh fruit and sliced vegetables with dips. Always keep a good supply of these items to pick on in your fridge or store cupboard.
This example daily raw food plan shows that you can easily move over to eating healthily without breaking your food budget or missing out on good tasting food. Of course there will be times when you are out or simply want something different. But the beauty is you are in control of this and can decide what you are doing today. You can then go straight back to your raw diet the next day.
