Raw Food Diet Juice Recipe
This raw juice recipe is taken from The Seven Day Quinoa Diet. It is one of 7 juice recipes in the diet. They are all good for getting raw food into your body easily and quickly.
I find that the juice recipes that mix fruit and vegetables together are much more substantial. the only problem is the colour. They can look a bit ugly, but one sip and you will be hooked. The fresh root ginger adds a strong tangy flavour to it and the spinach is almost like having raw energy in a drink. the other ingredients do add their own vitamins and nutrients, but they also make it taste good.
Raw spinach juiced on its own is quite diabolical to taste!
So here is the recipe. This is actually my favourite juice recipe and I use it 2 to 3 times per week for breakfast.
Ginger, Spinach and Pineapple Juice – Serves One
Ingredients
Large slice of fresh pineapple
1 apple
1 carrot
Handful of fresh spinach leaves
Fresh root ginger – amount to taste
Method
Cut the peel off the slice of pineapple. Do not peel the apple or the carrot.
Juice all the ingredients and serve with ice. Drink within 10 minutes of juicing to get
the full benefits of the goodness in the juice. You might have to stir it a few times if the ingredients separate in the glass.
